Reviews Summary
Overall, people really like the YouCut - Video Editor & Maker app for its comprehensive features, ease of use, and affordability, though some users experience issues with performance, especially with long videos or multiple Google accounts, and there's a desire for more robust music integration and faster rendering times.
Best video editor for the buck. Has all the features, if not more, than that of expensive video apps or ones that have subscriptions. Bravo to the devs. Would be nice if it would let you select multiple photos / videos from cloud storage and allow you to select whole folders and add all the photos / videos to a movie. Overall, it's an awesome app that's updated frequently. Support it and it's developers and purchase the pro version.
I absolutely love this video editing app! I've been using it for about 4 years now, and I'm always so happy to see the new updates that it gets! One thing I've always really wanted to see in the app is music. They have many music options that they've made themselves, but I really want to add my own music from YouTube or other apps. Besides that, this app is really easy to use and I enjoy it a lot! ❤️❤️

Hi, We've forwarded your feedback to our developers. Thank you for taking out the time to send us your suggestions!
Love using this app! May not do all the fancy stuff like cutting out and green screening, all though it might and I haven't tried it 😂, but you can do all the basic editing needs for free. I ended up buying it because it's a small 1 time purchase, not a monthly subscription. Great editing app that I use for Instagram reels and YouTube shorts!
This app is absolutely phenomenal, and I would consider it the gold standard for free video editing software on the Play store. I've been using the free version for over three years now to edit climbing videos and it's been super easy with minimal ads (on startup and when an edited video is being compiled, so you have to wait anyways.). That being said, the paid version is absurdly cheap, with payments of either $8/YEAR or $20 to buy the app with all of its features outright. Just bought it!
I still really LOVE this app!! Try it, it will NOT disappoint you. My FAVORITE video editing app. I don't know what I'd do without it. A+++ . . I love that "I" can trim, change speed, CROP and compress my videos on my own, those are all awesome features. I also love the music adding feature. This app is just so nice! You've just really got to try it to understand.
Back to one star. This isn't a world where anyone has only one Gmail account on their phone. It's absolutely ridiculous they haven't figured out out after all these years. Now every single time I use the app I have to delete all my Google accounts to restore purchase. This makes no sense at all! I haven't had to verify my pro account in a while so I'm updating. Also, the q&A/help feature is ridiculous. It's just these very fast moving clips that you cannot zoom in or pause, and have no sound.

Hello. Thank you for your feedback. It is important to make sure you have logged in to only ONE Google account. For now Google play doesn't recognize multiple accounts. Thanks for your understanding.
You can pretty much find an app to do whatever you need to do to a video these days. And while this one doesn't necessarily cover everything, it almost does. Say you want to put a certain sound effect or jingle in your video. If you don't already have it you can just go find it on Zedge most probably, download it, and then use this app to put it anywhere within your video. Pretty stinking cool if you ask me!
After discovering the recording feature and using it, the app started spazzing out. Some of the audio files are not playing as they should. It's either playing the wrong audio file or it doesn't play at all. Only after I alter it by slicing the ends of the audio file is when I can get my sound back but then other audio files do the same. Some play and some don't. Other than that the app works wonders. Please fix as this is very frustrating to have worked so hard only to lose your audio.
I tried quite a view mobile video editors, but YouCut does most of what I need it to do. It almost works as good as desktop services I used in the past. There's two things I wish it had: The ability to add multiple video and audio tracks and the ability to separate the audio from the video in case I want to edit out some of the video that I recorded with the audio.
If you are looking to do simple to moderately complex video and sound editing on mobile, this is the best overall app. Good balance of simple and intuitive to use while still having surprisingly deep capabilities, with a little bit of flash even. Obviously a desktop editor can do more, but if you are new to editing, have fairly straightforward projects, or just don't own a computer, highly recommend youcut. Free version is light on ads and heavy on features.
