Video Downloader

I don't know what's going on, but when I'm trying to download videos, the download either don't work and shows a "Link expired" prompt, or they do work for a few minutes but suddenly stops and shows the same "Link expired" prompt again, and when i deleted the data, the same thing happened AGAIN. this is INCREDIBLY annoying, please for the love of god, FIX THIS.

Simple, fast, and easy to use. Change file names as you go to simplify things later. I've been using this app for some time and initially gave it a 5 star; However, after spending some time on it, I've noticed a few problems. I have the ad free version which is well worth the price, but at times it puts me back in the free version and I have to uninstall and reinstall which causes me to lose all of my bookmarks and settings. While I like the anonymity of my data not being saved it is a pain.

It not only does what it says on the tin, but works on most stubborn sites, too. Ones that "Big name" downloaders (ie 9xBuddy & TubeNinja) CLAIM work, but don't. About the ads though… 1)The APP'S ads aren't TOO bad, but trigger at silly times (switching from the [Finished] to the [Downloading] tab = ad, for example) 2)The built-in browser has WORTHLESS Ad/Pop-up Blocking. Needing to start playback to find the download link, you often end up on a frustrating popup cycle just to get going.

This was a 5-⭐ app until it recently stopped working. When I try to use the app now it doesn't find the primary video on the page. It was near perfect every time, previously. The app would offer me between 2-3 choices in video quality/file size, I would choose and VOILA. Easy, every time. Now when I select the download button I'm only presented one file size, it's usually named "empty" or "empty2", and it's usually only about 3.5 kB. Please Please Please look into it for us. It works well, but the browser implementation needs work. There's a limit of 10 tabs at one time. Once you have 10 tabs, the next tab you open will cause one of the current tabs to close. There also isn't a good webpage history to find the one you lost. Even worse is the ad implementation, which I think uses an overlay so when you click on a link the ad open in a new tab. If you had ten tabs open, you've just lost one and it's been replaced with an ad. This was very close to a great product

Ad when you first open, okay. "Due to legal restrictions, videos on YouTube/Facebook CANNOT be downloaded " Just trying to send a short clip of gameplay to my dad that doesn't have Facebook to sign in with. Tested on YouTube just to see if the same message comes up and it does. "Legal restrictions" shouldn't be a good enough answer to this as it's up to the end user to make that determination because one could always just use a screen capture app instead... Failed for my use; uninstalled.

REPORT APP. I did not authorize this app to change my system settings but it does. It has a video player and it automatically set itself as my default video player whenever I play personal videos from my phone, however it does not give me the option to turn off the default option anywhere in settings. I never authorized it to do so. Now when my play own personal videos, it includes ads because of the app's video player being the default. Ad revenue skeme. Don't download. Report!

Add Rates seem to being going up again. Feels like there is an add every 2 minutes whether you are downloading or not. For a while, the ads seemed shorter, or you had the ability to close within 5-10 seconds . Now it seems we either get a 30 sec add where you can't close or a 30sec add where you can close after 25 seconds, which id pointless. You are a video downloader , not a game, 30 sec adds are warranted. *Also you need to get a DRM work around ASAP or your app will become obsolete

Works as described. I'm not even gonna complain about excessive ads. However, it will often freeze up when an ad appears, forcing you to close and restart app. Then pray the restart doesn't open with an ad or you are forced to close and restart again. I have had to stop and restart as many as 25-30 times. Fix this issue and I'll change my rating.

I give one star because the sync to gallery off mode didn't work after several hours of use and almost sabotaged me! After installing, I deliberately toggle off sync to gallery before starting to download videos. I was happy that the videos didn't show up at the gallery. After using it for half a day, it appeared in my gallery after reviewing the videos and deleting some. It seemed like sync to gallery only worked if you didn't delete the videos? Once a video is deleted, "it's show time!"
