VN - Video Editor & Maker

This is actually the best editor I have found, and thank god for that. So many were unavailable on mobile or had a watermark or like 'only 2 drafts for free'. I don't think I'll even need 100 drafts, lol. Now, I will say that the app is laggy, and I don't mean it in the way of, 'It will crash on me 30+ times for a 2 and 40 second video' I mean it as if you are using a lot of overlays it might take a moment to actually move to where you need it to, but that's the only thing. Love this so much! ♡

The function of the editor itself seems to work very well, that's the only reason for a second star. The folders organization is confusing to say the least, saving projects seems to be fairly easy but the ones I thought I'd saved didn't work, when I went back to play, I got an error that the originals had disappeared. There are no clear inductions on how to save them permanently and export doesn't work nor any instructions on that either. Waste of time from my experience, too complicated.

So far, so good; it seems like every editing app has become riddled with ads or requires premiums to remove a watermark and up until now I've been using cap cut but as an alternative, this one gets it done. It's not as extensive and doesn't have such a deep ending features but everything it offers is very well done and it's set up very professionally kind of reminds me of final cut. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a top shelf free editing platform. 10 out of 10 wood bang 🤌🏿

This app is good. Since I got it, I never went to others of its kind. The only thing that reminded me of using others is when I need noise reduction in my work. Unfortunately this app doesn't have noise reduction else it would have been 90% good to go. Because of that singular reason, I gave it 4 stars. The 5th star will be pending when noise reduction is added in the next update.

I'm not sure what the heck is going on. It's a good app, but the music continues to cut off every time I extend the images of the video for the queue of the music. So I'm not pleased with the musical functionality of this app. I really do hope that they can work out the bugs very soon because I'm getting tired of it. Here I am trying to make a video for my girlfriend on Valentine's Day. And it keeps on messing up. So they're going to have to fix it.

Nice video editor. But, I need a feature turned off on Android. When the "Volume" is pressed, it automatically plays the video. This is hindering during setting volume for keyframes. I checked other editors like Capcut, Videoproc Editor and they don't play when "Volume" is pressed. Why on VN? There is already a play button on the player. We can press play whenever we need. If I am making a mistake, tell me. Or give in settings "puse playback when volume pressed".

It is a very good app but I will say simplicity is genius and this isnt very simple. For instance most of the time we just want to cut/trim and video that went to long or something and make the video shorter. It could be sooo easy to make a simple for this action pick where you want to stop the video and cut out the rest and that's it. But it's kinda a pain. Oh well I'm sure once one uses it enough it would become easier. Still greatful for this app. Thank you!

This editor no longer works on my latest Android phone. It keeps saying ERROR WHILE PLAYBACK. PLEASE EXIT AND TRY AGAIN. OK. I exited and tried again, 10 times. I cleared the data and the cache and tried uninstalling and reinstalling it. The same message kept coming up. It was a 3 minute video that turned into a bloody nightmare! I uninstalled the app. I would now like to this app give zero stars but that option isn't there!

This app actually sucks, I downloaded it bc capcut is now banned. But even with over 50% of their stuff being for money, it's still better than this app. It is incredibly laggy, and when you add clips sometimes it goes black so you can't even see/ re-watch the edit over to make sure it looks right. And just as soon as you think you're done, you go to export it and then everything is off timed. Absolutely a waste of time to even LOOK in the direction of this app, save your time.
