People generally do not like the app due to frequent crashes, slow performance, and issues with saving edits, especially after recent updates.
There was a recent update that eliminated "Import to Lightroom" as a share option and instead made it "Open in Lightroom." This was supposed to streamline the process, but if I do this, an error occurs and I can't save any edits or export the photo afterwards, and the app almost always crashes. Now, instead, I have to open Lightroom and select upload, search through all of my photos manually until I find the one I'm looking for, and import it that way. Made the process 10000x more difficult.

Downloads take forever since the recent update for the app. I have zero issues when I'm working on my desktop, but I need lightning room to work properly so I can download those photos for my work. I love Lightning Room, but this thing downloads when it wants to. Edit: Never mind it never downloads. I remembered how I got them to download. I had to put it into Photoshop.

I'm getting really tired of edits not being saved UNLESS you leave the photo and view the gallery before going to another application. I edited 3 photos, went to answer a text, come back to the app to see nothing saved. Nothing save on ANY of those photos? Give me a save button then so I can do it manually The amount of spam ratings on here is insane, too. Adobe paying for their app to look good?
Several recent, big problems. The biggest issue is that my photos flicker every couple seconds between a less saturated and more saturated version. No idea why, even if I load up a photo and don't edit it, it changes between two different looks every few seconds. Makes it impossible to tell what the "real" image like like. Also, the layout change from a few months ago is awful. I don't want to view my entire phone gallery. I just want to view my Lightroom web photos by default.
It's just one slice of the whole pie that leaves you frustrated and missing the old days. LR has masking, but PSE does not. PSE has custom water mark and copyright options but LR does not. LR has more blur effect variety but PSE has more control of the blur region and affected areas - a different blur entirely. There so much nickel and timing scheming with these apps that it's downright gross. Fake AI, missing features, subscriptions. I miss 2008...

If I could rate this app as a zero, I would. I subscribed to the premium plan because I was interested in editing some objects out of my videos. However, that felature does not appear to be available (i.e., the feature is blacked out and unusable). Needless to say, I am not going to continue beyond the trial period.

App is not working correctly. I press upload to the app from my gallery and it jumps me into the app instead. So I exit out then it doesn't save that I uploaded a photo. The only ways it seems to save is to do that and the press back on the app. Very difficult when uploading a lot of photos. EDIT: it's been almost 2 months and this has not been fixed

I really love lightroom on Android but I'm still waiting for HDR support on 9 Pro! Quite frustrating coming from the 7 Pro which did have it. A recent update claims to make it so you can finally upload HDR images from Lightroom to Instagram, however I can't really test this, nor want to, until I can edit the photos in HDR in Lightroom first. I would also like it to be easier to edit in full Res instead of smart previews, although this is maybe something to fix on Lightroom Classic on Windows.

While I am a mere beginner this app served me well during the first few weeks of use. Lately, however, there have been many bugs; mostly pertaining to adaptive AI and blur effect. No matter how I attempt to complete these actions, they never seem to be operating.

The blur option is fabulous... IF and WHEN it works. This is such a key editing feature but the waiting messages such as "One moment..." Go on for literally minutes until I just decide to cancel the change. Blur option is one of the major reasons I paid for a premium subscription... So that I'm not toting around a DSLR. Still some solid editing functions but this was a big disappointment and will be cancelling my paid subscription.
