Reviews Summary
Users generally like the Cameringo+ Filters Camera app for its wide variety of filters and features, though some users have issues with its performance, outdated UI, and lack of support for certain functionalities, leading to a mix of positive and critical reviews.
I do like this app butt I would like it a lot more if it's supported a complete immersion mode. That is if the entire UI was removed on immersion mode then the utility of the app could be realized in my largest conceived endeavor, the gb of world's records most number of phones in a video feedback loop. If you don't give us full immersion we can't really use it I. Video feedback which sucks b cause you put do all the effects in realtime please pay me for this post the ks
Great camera, antiquated design... I love the app, I bought it and used it right away and the first thing I noticed was the UI and how outdated it is. It doesn't make use of the space of the screen, and some actions like scrolling and dragging a slider can be a little sluggish. The app would be a 5/5 if they updated the UI and made the app more simplified but modern looking, removing clutter and unnecessary buttons or things displayed on the screen (like a viewfinder preview)
I bought the full version several years ago, I loved it so much I bought it again when my original phone died. My favorite feature, and the main reason I purchased the app. is the great variety of wonderful, quality, live filters for photos and video. The macro and torch feature are also superb. My only complaint is an on-going issue with the app either failing to open, crashing within a minute of being opened, and most commonly; the app is stuck, unresponsive to anything (even to being turned off) as if it's buffering or in the process of rendering. I have to turn my phone off and many times reboot just to get it out of its ongoing loop. Even after reboot the app may fail to work correctly. I usually wait a few days to reopen it and it usually works normally. Besides a fix for that major bug, it would be really cool to have more completely manual features to set iso/aperture/shutter etc. and a lock to a set focus feature (like focus to infinity) which would all help greatly in shooting night time photography. The ability to use the macro and torch feature with the front camera would also open up some interesting possibilities. Even with the app getting a little buggy more often than not, it's still a brilliant application and tool. Props to the developers, especially those responsible for a couple of the mind blowing, seeminly physics defying filters!! Thank you for this great (and hopefully bug free) app.
[Update: The Note 20 is capable of saving in RAW format. That option now a must for me to continue using this app.] This is the closest I've found to a dedicated camera. I love how much control I have before pressing the shutter button. So any post-processing I might have to do is to adjust my framing. My one wish for improvement is to have black as an option for the grid lines. The white lines are often hard to see, especially in bright light.
This app is GARBAGE! There is a 2-3 second delay between the time you press the shutter button and when it actually takes the photo. You see a loading circle thinking it has taken the shot and is saving it. When you check the image it is 2-3 sec later than you wanted. Also neither Night Shot nor Macro work anymore. Didn't used to be this way. Android 12, Moto g 5g. Stock camera works better.
One of the rare applications that I've actually wanted to pay for; it's a great all with lots of filters and effects maximizing creative output. Would live to give 5 stars if there was a way to load outside video that was already in my gallery. As of now you can only alter video being recorded through the app. If we could add the option, this would be a 5 star app, definitely!
Love this app and all of the settings. I've convinced all of my friends to purchase it too, wonderful! Please add a solarized filter category. My favorite! And maybe in settings to adjust intensity and exposure, contrast, etc have the options for shadow, highlights, add the grid to change dynamic of photo and light rays like I'm the editing options for the app ”vertical gallery”, not sure what its called, but add those options and it will be complete! Thank you for the wonderful app.
This app has enabled me to create a variety of impressive images to sell as prints! Easy, to use and loaded w features like, lenses and filters, that I have, as an artist, come to rely on! I'veR found this app, combined w TOOLWHIZ photo editor to be a powerhouse for creating stunning visualizations. I recommend CAMERINGO PRO to anyone; amateur or professional, this app can take care of your basic photography needs plus, much, much more!
Good but not good enough, this app is not compatible for more than one camera, I can't access the other cameras on my galaxy phone, just a "primary" one whichever one that is and the front facing camera, and it doesn't have sufficient modes compared to the native app for "PRO" use. If they add more functionality and fix this accessibility issue, I'll give them an upgrade on my review.
I have used Cameringo+ for years now. I am a digital artist and this is one of my main "go to" editing apps. There are some extra tools when editing manually. Like "intensify" and exposure, brightness, and contrast are sepera ted. I like that. And you can use those tool within the filters if you like. It's easy but not too easy. Because that's what all the other apps are like. You don't want to be bored do you? Details aren't lost in the prints. The photos are very high quality. Vibrant colors. You can also make gifs, and movies, animation if you like. Try the free version first if you don't believe me.
