Gallery

It is great, but my photos keep disappearing from this app! It says on Google Photos that the images are no longer on my device (this app). This is the second time this has happened. I need to go back and redownload all my photos, and thoat takes forever. Today all the photos got deleted AGAIN. please help. They seem to be deleted over time. Please help, it happened again!

I will say, has been very useful, very helpful, my favorite gallery app for the last few years now. But, this most recent update brought a bug, whenever you zoom in on a photo, then tap any place on the screen, it will zoom back out without warning at all. Making looking at small details impossible. Having this fixed soon would be massively appreciated, as I do use this app quite often, as I'm sure many others do as well.

So for some reason, most of the time, when I save a video to my phone and I want to move it to a folder, it won't let me. I thought it was my phone at first but it turned out other people have that problem too. Also when I saved videos to put into a folder, later on they would say unsupported media when I saved videos that were the same as other videos I saved before. Fix this problem please.

Fine but this app will sometimes randomly scramble all your photos. Like literally all of them; it's completely unusable at some point. It would be better than Google photos if only it didn't do this. It feels completely fixable because every other app has never done this before, but I've tried everything and this still happens. Why does it do this??? Super annoying.

No PRIVACY Album/Hide Option: I understand that you're quite well versed and are experts when it comes to different apps and technologies, but I'd like to know why your Google Gallery App (not Google Photos) has no option to HIDE photos or videos. There's no option for a PRIVATE Album at all. That's like a basic feature of phone Galleries nowadays, right? Please advise. Thank you so much! Regards, Bee

I despise this gallery, at best it's just a place to toss everything. You can't choose a thumbnail for a given album. You can't choose which albums are kept at the top. You can't just move pictures between albums without granting access for every move. The customization is lackluster at best. It DESPERATELY needs features like those available in Samsung Gallery. I want to stick with Google apps in general, but I can't with this. It's garbage.

It was good until one day I opened the app to find all my images and videos scrambled. I store school related images to favorites album so it's easy access. It's s very frustrating to redo everything. The most annoying thing is it only didnt happen once but 4 times this year. PLEASE fix this. Thank you.

Update: the recent release will not install, keeps erroring out and failing, been going on for over a month now. I like this app, simple to use, simple and user friendly design, NO ADS (which is hard to find for a gallery app), the perfect Gallery App! Google finally added the ability to sort the folders/albums by their name, which was the only flaw this app had. Highly recommend!!

It's a pretty good app. It was something I was looking for. But my main criticism is how plain it is. There is nothing nessicerly dynamic. I don't mean to make it exactly like Google photos, because it's much more easier to manage. However, you can't rename your albums. You would have to delete it and name it again. I wish there were more options and things you could do, like make a custom photo for an album. (Please take this into some account) Also fix bugs but that's about it.

The app works great, when it actually works. Woke up this morning to find that the app deleted every photo I had saved on my phone, & I have to find a way of getting those pictures back. I hope you can actually make the app usable, because my photos, or anyone's photos getting deleted, is absolutely unacceptable. Edit: There's a serious issue w/ this app. Because I submitted my report & suddenly my pictures came back? You guys need to find a way to actually fix the bugs instead of pretending
