Reviews Summary
People generally like the Frame Crop - Samsung Frame TV app, praising its ease of use, functionality, and ability to find and crop artworks, although some users noted issues with the user interface, lack of compatibility with different TV sizes, and the absence of advanced features.
Makes it really easy to discover and crop artworks for the Frame TV. I like that this lets you select and crop your own photos easily as well, but it would be really great if this app also allowed you to select 2 or 3 portraits and combine them into one framed and mounted work. Currently, it seems like there is no "auto gallery" feature on the Frame TV, which is something I miss from my other Samsung TV.
Thanks for the creation of this Frame Crop app. Highly recommended for those who own Samsung The Frame TV. Beautiful artwork from well renowned artists can be located easily in the app. The moment I found out that I do not need to be paying a monthly subscription for Samsung's Art gallery, I immediately purchased this app. Worth every single cent!
UI needs work. Unintuitive controls produce unexpected results—frequently nonfunctional ones. For the app price, the user experience should be flawless. Will be sending feedback to the developer.

Thanks for the feedback Tracey. Would love to hear more of your thoughts. Email [email protected] with your suggestions.
No instructions, does not interface with hisense canvas tv as stated. Very difficult to use. Just send you to a Wiki page with images of I guess your supposed to figure it out.
Developer response:
Hello Mark. You’re tapping on the circle or author info area which links you out to Wikipedia. Tap on the outer image instead. Also the app only says it downloads images ready for the Hisense CanvasTV, it never says it connects directly. Hopefully the small change in where you tap will make the app more intuitive for you!
Wish I could batch select paintings while scrolling. Also wish it saved artist name, title and date to the file name!
Good overall, should come with the ability to download some standard collections in bulk and upload it to the TV. In addition I have allot of photos that are need to be frame as one photo. Would great if the app could automatically check the size and frame 3 or 4 photo together ❤️

Thanks for the suggestions. Not what the app is focused on at the moment, but I'll see if any of them make sense long term.
1. Allow me to zoom out if I want to have dark edges around arr in the middle of the picturs - don't force fit to LH and RH edge. 2. Upload artwork name to Frame 3. Allow me to select 4K only?
Developer response:
Thanks for purchasing the app. I think number 1 would be confusing for users, especially since you can apply a matte within The Frame software. 2. I'll make this change on the next push (great suggestion). 3. I'll think about this, however the sources don't have unlimited 4K so you might not get that many results and pagination could be affected.
Found it through Reddit, great way to get your art and pictures to The Frame

Thanks Miguel! Glad you like it.
Awesome app. It was just what I was hoping for. Clean UI, no unnecessary data collection, smartthings integration, museum and wikicommons search.... well done! Upon first use, I have some requests that I would enjoy: - option to filter by resolution - add advanced search and expose more search params from wikicommoms - perhaps edit on the thumbnail and download full res image in the background to make the UX in edit mode snappier. - make installed ico/ app name consistent with Google Play

Perfect! I've been messing around with sizing photos for my Frame and its never cropped correctly and is time consuming. This takes the guess work out and does it for me!
Developer response:
Glad it's working out for you!
