Gallery - Photo Gallery, Album

Generally good app, allows me better sorting functions and easier photo editing than defaults but I've got some minor complaints: 1: I can't sort by date downloaded, only modified, meaning all unmodified images are bunched up at the end and a picture I cropped 2 years ago takes precedent 2: video player cannot be looped, which wouldn't be a problem if not for 3: on my S24+ I can't set VLC as the default video player, which DOES have that looping function

It was a great app, easy to use and nice to have everything organized. The only drawback is that when I add a certain photo to one of my folders, it doesn't appear in the folder's thumbnail and it's arranged by dates when it was modified. I never had that issue with my last phone and it's something that I have to keep in mind.

So this is an actually good alternative to the grand daddy of gallery apps Quick Pic, which is no longer on Google Play, although I still have a copy 😅 Allows alfabetized organization of your photos, has small ads, and no ridiculous subscriptions. Definitely 5 stars. And it's fast! Can handle my 35,000+ picture file and the rest in less than a second. Well done guys! 👍😊

Had this installed for exactly three minutes. Photos wouldn't rotate in viewer and the locker feature required (as in non-optional) more access than necessary. I just can't trust apps like this that basically want carte blanc access to my entire phone. Plus, it has ads, in your photo viewer .... Meh, it's not for me.

FIGURED OUT THE ISSUE: it doesn't ask for access permission to sdcard if you start using the app on one click organizer (so deleting files won't happen). Also I don't have any issues with the ads as long as the app works nicely. (Btw you promised to add the organizer for videos too:)). Thanks. Edit2: 5 star for customer service 🤍💐

I don’t know about you, but if you’ve ever upgraded to a new phone and found your photos scattered in random places, or ended up with duplicates or even triplicates of the same photo, this app is a game changer! It’s incredibly satisfying to organize everything into the correct folders, and it really helps calm my OCD. While it does take some time to go through everything, it’s definitely worth it. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an easy way to tidy up your photo library.

It does function as a gallery and uses folders. Main beef is the obnoxious ads. Not just a few ads but lots of ads, often holding me hostage upon app startup. I don't mind paying the bills but this is ridiculous. The functional problem is that when I move a photo into a new folder, this app resets the date time stamp to the time of the move. I don't like that behavior. If the developer would fix the time stamp issue, get rid of the ads and charge for the app, I would pay $20 or $30 for it.

I installed the Gallery photos for personal backups, but instead, it's showing me other ads that's I'm not interested in at the moment. As of now, I'm just trying to store my photos, but I'm receiving these ads that are not giving me the option to close out. It's only saying continue when I'm not interested. They remind me of unwanted commercials that interrupts your favorite programming.

Good luck not clicking an ad. They're everywhere. Not worth it. I understand ads are required to run the app. I shouldn't literally be fighting to find my photos amongst the ads though. And if you want download retention, maybe make sure they don't show up on the very, very first app opening? Absolutely makes it look like a spam app even if it isn't.

FINALLY.. This app makes it soooo easy to organize your pics. Before I'd have to scroll down a long list of albums to add pics that fell under that category then scroll through over a thousand pics to add relevant pics now that I've found the album. BUT NOW.. with Gallerit ; I just conveniently swipe up, left, or tap to quickly drop pics in the right folder on the same screen without needing to change tabs or scroll my fingers to the bone. This app makes me happy.
